Madonna del Carmine Church
The interior of the Church has smooth stucco walls treated with faux marble, like the columns placed on the altar. The intrados of the presbytery vault, furrowed with plaster relief ribbing, at the four corners, and painted in light blue with star decorations symbolically depicted in the celestial vault. Part of the original painted majolica floor is preserved in the apse and along the lateral bands of the nave, while in the central part of the hall (1930s) the floor with colored cement grit has been replaced. Although essential, the decorative apparatus shows a good overall design which is appreciable for the society of the composition. Inside the church there are several paintings with representations of invoice ascribable to the first quarter of the twentieth century. In the center of the vault there is a painting on plaster of the late nineteenth century, depicting the Virgin of Carmel with the figures of the prophet Elijah and St. Simon Stock, founder of the Carmelite order. Interesting and of fine workmanship, the statue of the Madonna del Carmine placed in the display case below the pulpit, which recalls the expressive influence of the eighteenth century in the expressive annotations. In the sacristy there is a Christ of the XVI-XVII century and the statue of S. Nicola, both kept in a wooden case, coming from the Church of S. Nicola. Inside the sacristy room there is a wooden wardrobe with well-made drawers like the door leading to the compartment.
